The 5531 Sella was designed for hiking in the Nordic climate, which means it was designed for rain, mud, cold and the occasional decent day. Waterproof genuine nubuck leather upper over a 4-layer sock-style TOPAZ membrane that keeps water out while letting your feet breathe.

Underneath is a 2-layer Vibram sole, built to handle both soft ground and hard. If you don't know Vibram: they're the standard the rest of the hiking world is measured against.

Made in Estonia by Samelin to NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001. The same factory builds the M77 combat boot and has manufactured for Dr. Martens and Rossignol — but hiking boots are what they're best known for.
