TOKU's leather sneaker — built for actual walking, not just standing around.
The Portland is TOKU's take on a tennis shoe: a Vibram outsole underneath, a breathable velour upper, and vegetable-tanned leather detailing that ages with character instead of just wearing out. A wider strip through the toe box means it fits comfortably even on feet wider than average. Unisex.
Handmade in southern Estonia by the same small family company that's been making TOKU shoes since 1927.

Takes time to wear in since they're made from thick leather. You can see some imperfections in the stitching and sole cuts, but that’s what makes them special. You can really tell they’re handmade.
Very good boots. I got them as an alternative to hiking boots. Since I walk my dog, the boots go through constant wet-dry cycles. My hiking boots lasted at most one year in those conditions, sometimes only six months, across different brands. These boots have shown no signs of wear so far, even though I’ve been using them for at least a year already. And that is despite the fact that I’m lazy about treating them. At first, it felt strange that the laces were so long. Then I was surprised to discover that the boots work very well when you wrap the laces around the top.
I am just fascinated - I don't think I have had such comfortable boots before from the first moment I put them on! Lightweight, comfortable, very easy to put on and off and very beautiful as well! Words of praise beyond measure!
